Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Antigonish

Laura has extensive acupuncture training through Acupuncture Canada; AA1 Foundations of Anatomical Acupuncture and AA2 Clinical Applications in Anatomical Acupuncture courses in acupuncture and is CAFCI certified. Dr. Jeremy Hillyard, medical site lead for St. Martha's, said doctors have left in the past year for a variety of reasons, including better pay in other jurisdictions, issues with changes to licensing regulations, for places where they would spend less time on-call and for family reasons.
Krista had offered over the course of two years a popular women's health workshop series titled Moon Goddess - Women's Knowledge of Menstruation and Ovulation” teaching over 75 women about their menstrual cycles and how to incorporate Herbal Medicine to address common reproductive pathologies.



It was at St. F. X. where she developed a strong interest in health, wellness and physical therapy and she quickly realized that health care was where she wanted to be. Upon graduation at St. F. X., she was accepted at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) to begin the Doctor of Chiropractic program.
She has taught Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria since 1999, and currently divides her time between teaching, running a small organic farm and nursery in Metchosin, writing books and academic papers, working as a naturalist, and raising two energetic boys.

Tony graduated with a Diploma in Phytotherapy from Pacific Rim College and is a member of the Canadian Herbalist Association of BC. He is a practicing Medical Herbalist at his home based clinic, Woodward Phytotherapy, in Brentwood Bay, BC. He has a keen interest in the areas of nervous system health, pain management and addictions having seen many such cases improve with the use of herbal medicine.
He has taught for two colleges, was a guest lecturer at Acadia University, and was requested for seminars by yoga instructors, the Acupuncture Acupuncture Antigonish and Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Nova Scotia, as well as Nova Scotia & Saskatchewan Naturopathic Conferences.

Katrina has always known that she is most passionate about caring for people and helping them feel safe and at ease but wasn't sure how to channel that energy until she discovered the world of holistic health and, in particular, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Before Toronto, Jenn spent four years at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Study in those areas eventually led him to discover Chinese medicine, and within himself a natural talent for acupuncture.
